Zero Tolerance Policy

• Please note: All participants of association sponsored or approved activities (herein “participant(s)”), including, but not limited to volunteers, coaches, commissioners, committee members, officers, and directors, shall voluntarily submit to, be screened, and successfully pass an annual or biannual criminal background check. The Board of Directors shall take all reasonable and cost effective precautions to ensure that no participant has not been finally convicted from a court of competent jurisdiction of any state within the United States or  any other country of any of the following offenses: (i) convicted of any Felony or (ii)  convicted of any other criminal offense  not a felony, and which involves a child or children, regardless of criminal  classification, involving a child from a court of competent jurisdiction of any state within the United  States or of any other country. The Board of Directors will be responsible for administering said background checks through an outside source, reviewing the background reports, and taking any appropriate administrative action resulting therefrom, specifically including, but not limited to denial of  any application for membership, suspension or revocation of any participation in Corporation sponsored or approved activities for a period determined by the Board in its absolute discretion, and the grant or denial of any request for a  waiver of ineligibility as otherwise provided for herein.
